St. Vincent De Paul Society
The parish conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are a group of men and women dedicated to the assistance of the needy within our parish boundaries. An emergency food pantry is stocked through the generosity of the parishioners. The baskets in the vestibule of church serve to remind us of the needs of the poor and how we can help. Your donation of canned goods are always put to good use.
Every year, at our Thanksgiving Day Liturgy, parishioners are encouraged to bring canned items and place them at the altar during the offertory. The food helps feed hungry families in our area.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society decorates our parish “Giving Tree” with ornaments during the season of Advent. Each ornament has a written article of clothing on it. You may take an ornament, purchase the item, and place it under the tree. Your donated clothing is then distributed to families in need during Christmas.
Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. On the first Monday each month. The meetings take place in the Parish Center. Please contact the rectory for any details.
