Lenten Disciplines

Catholics in good health ages 18 to 59 are required to fast and abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.  

Fasting consists of eating only one meal, with the possibility of two smaller snacks that do not add up to a single full meal.

 Catholics age 14 and older are to abstain from meat on all Fridays in Lent.

 

ASH WEDNESDAY is FEBRUARY 26th-Ashes will be distributed at both Holy Masses -8:00a.m. and 7:00p.m.

 

The Stations of the Cross will be prayed every Friday evening during Lent beginning February 28th at 6:30p.m. followed immediately by a Friday evening Mass at 7:00p.m.

During Lent, there will be no Friday 8am Mass except on First Friday
